How long have you been a member of FSA (years)? I have been a member for over five years.
Have you served FSA in the past? No, I have not.
What abilities and attributes can you bring to the Board? I am presently in the FES-FELI Class 2025, and looking for a service role in the upcoming year. I am very aware of the legal and technical issues facing our stormwater industry, and know that the next generation needs some mentorship and guidance to balance the state's population growth with our sensitive ecological stormwater system. I am a Florida native, love to fish, and enjoy camping in our state with my family. If we don't protect our natural resources, it can be destroyed.
What background and experience do you have in the stormwater industry? I am a UF graduate from the Ag/Biological Engineering Program, with a water resource background, licensed Professional Engineer in Florida, having been working in the Stormwater Engineering industry since 2001. I have permitted engineering projects throughout the state over the past 20+ years, and have served in local government between 2008-2024 overseeing many stormwater projects as EOR, and as Director and Manager over stormwater assets at 2 local cities (Largo, Dunedin), and 2 Counties (Hillsborough/Citrus). I have worked with Keith Fogarty at the City of Dunedin (who recently passed), and Bob Nowak (City of Largo), leaders within the Stormwater Industry within Pinellas County and the State, where I learned about doing Stormwater Design and Construction within the populated context of Pinellas County.
Why do you want this Board position? To protect our local stormwater & water resources for future generations while serving in a positive organization for our community!
