There will be elections to fill vacancies on both the FSA Board of Directors and the FSA Educational Foundation's Board of Directors during the Annual Membership Meeting. Elections will be held the Friday morning of the Annual Conference, June 13, 2025 at 9:00 a.m. This is your chance to get to know the future of the primary organization dedicated to the stormwater management profession and water quality improvement programs in Florida!
About FSA Board of Directors Elections
Local Government Seats (One Open Seat in SFWMD, SWFWMD, SJRWMD, and SRWMD = Five Seats Total) Two members employed by a city/county government from within the jurisdictional boundaries of each of the five Water Management Districts are selected by other city/county members from those areas. At least one member shall be a representative from a local government/special district that has an established stormwater utility or similar financing mechanism. Local Government/Special District members of the Board of Directors serve for overlapping terms of two years each. Only one member of the Board of Directors may be selected from each local government with the exception of the persons occupying the offices of President, Vice President, Secretary-Treasurer, and Past Presidents.
Consultant Seats (Two Open Seats) Four consultant members are selected by the other consultant members for overlapping terms of two years each. Only one member of the Board of Directors may be selected from each consultant member company with the exception of the persons occupying the offices of President, Vice President, Secretary-Treasurer, and Past Presidents.
Water Management District Seat (One Open Seat) One Water Management District member is selected by the other Water Management District members for a term of two years.
About FSA Educational Foundation Board of Directors Elections
Board of Directors (Two Open Seats) The Board of Directors is comprised of FSA’s Education Committee Chair and four additional members serving alternating two year terms. At least one member shall be a Past President of FSA or have served in a leadership position. With the exception of the Education Committee Chair, FSAEF Board members may not be members of FSA’s Board of Directors or be employed by an organization that is otherwise represented.
